The Perfect No. 6

60% Shiraz – 40% Cabernet Sauvignon

Our only-from-Australia blend is a classic combination of two primary varietals from the region – 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Featuring spicy, savory, peppery notes, dark fruit flavors, and a grippy mouthfeel that lingers with each sip, this wine is big and bold yet perfectly balanced. A beautiful complement to bigger dishes with robust flavors, this bottle will go fast once opened! South Australia is responsible for over half of the wines coming out of the Southern Hemisphere continent. Known for varietals of all flavors and types, the region experiences a warm continental climate with moderate maritime influences. Dry and sunny days turn into cooler evenings, creating a near-perfect environment for fruit to both fully ripen and develop deeply concentrated flavors.

ABOUT THE BRAND:

large bunches of red grapes on the vine

The Perfect No. 6

Why did we name ourselves The Perfect No. 6? The answer is rooted in Australian history, number theory, and our belief that great wine combines countless factors working in unity. As for Australian history, in 1901 the six self-governing colonies of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia unified to become the Commonwealth of Australia, a sum greater than its individual parts. How does this tie into number theory? The number six is “perfect” because it equals the sum of its divisors, 1+2+3. Our collection brings out the best of these six states as their distinct environments and various elements culminate into one delicious wine.
