South Australia, Australia
A delectable, dark fruited taste from down under
ABOUT THIS WINE:

Nomos
Shiraz
Our 2020 Nomos Shiraz is best described as a “classic Aussie Shiraz.” This jammy wine brings out the spirited and rustic feeling of the Outback with all the plump fruit flavor Shiraz lovers crave. The intense heat and little rainfall in South Australia make for an unforgiving climate. Luckily, these thick-skinned grapes thrive in such arid conditions. High temperatures during the growing season create soaring sugar levels at harvest, resulting in rich, full-bodied wines after fermentation. The winemakers then employ a restrained use of oak to soften tannins and add a touch of spice without losing the wine’s robust fruit flavors. With each harvest comes a new opportunity to explore new worlds of flavor. Every vintage is a representation of this adventurous country and its winemaking spirit. If this is your first taste of classic Shiraz, good on ya, mate, and cheers! Scroll through t ...
