ABOUT THIS WINE:

M and MME

Grenache Blanc

Two wines destined to be together. Love at first sight. Two star crossed wines. M and MME explore two expressions of French wine, one red and one white. These wines, a Grenache Rouge and a Grenache Blanc, are complementary. They can stand on their own but do wonderfully together. This Grenache Blanc is crisp but still has a round mouthfeel with just a hint of sweetness. White peach, green apple, and pear notes dominate the flavor profile but are accented by just a touch of white flowers. We’ve been enjoying this with gazpacho, fresh figs, and green pesto. Judges love it too! It took home 92 points and a Gold Medal at the 2020 Winemaker Challenge and a Silver medal from the 2019 Sommelier Challenge.

WINE REGION:

Outline of France

France

While it was not the first country to master winemaking, no other country has determined the course of wine and wine culture as much as France. From the sparkling wines of Champagne to the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of Burgundy; from Bordeaux's sumptuous blends to Alsace's Riesling; and from the Loire Valley's Sauvignon Blancs to exciting new regions like Pays d'Oc in the south, France has given the world nearly all the major styles and grape varieties that dominate what we drink today. There are numerous reasons why France and wine are so inextricably linked, but perhaps the foremost is geography. Few places can rival France's unique array of hot and cool-climate regions and the abundant maritime influences and mountainous terrain found throughout the country.

TASTING NOTES:

Green Apple

Peach

White Flowers

This Grenache Blanc is crisp but still has a round mouthfeel with just a hint of sweetness. What that means is that this French White is smooth. There are also tastes of white peach, green apple, and pear that dominate the flavor profile but are accented by just a touch of white flowers. We’ve been enjoying this with gazpacho, fresh figs, and green pesto.

ABOUT THE BRAND:

large bunches of red grapes on the vine

M and MME

The most beautiful relationships aren’t the ones that complete one another but rather those that accentuate each other. This is the essence of M and MME. Both beautiful on their own, with their character on full display but even better next to one another with their passion and love shining through.
