ABOUT THIS WINE:
Loudspeaker
Cabernet Sauvignon
The Loudspeaker Cabernet Sauvignon is a saxophone playing at full volume. It has bold oak and spice with voluptuous boysenberry fruit flavor that mingles with dark cherries and licorice. There’s a hint of mint that plays off of the leathery texture and nuanced blue fruits. It’s a slightly unexpected wine that has a strong fruit character that will stand up to equally fruity dishes: duck with figs, venison with dates, and plum braised pork. It pairs equally well with baritone R&B, sultry Blues, and throaty Jazz. Judges love this wine too. It took home a Gold medal at the 2019 Texas International Wine Competition.

WINE REGION:
California
California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.

This wine is a very polished Cabernet Sauvignon. It has high fruity intensity with concentrated notes of blue fruit supported by ripe tannins and a textured mouthfeel. The time it spent on oak adds layers of vanilla and mocha that beautifully complement the richness of the fruit.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Loudspeaker
Did you know that the very first loudspeaker (aka Magnavox) was invented in Napa by Edwin Pridham and Peter Jensen in 1915? There is a difference between shouting and amplifying. At Loudspeaker, we amplify our winemaker’s voice. We deliver wines with depth and beauty; every resonating sip magnifies our message and reconfirms that shouting is not required to make your voice heard.
