Landmark
Sonoma County, California
A true blend of Sonoma Chardonnay that takes the region's best to become more than a sum of its parts
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Landmark
Overlook Chardonnay
There's a myth that blends are bad. Blending in wine is the real artwork done by winemakers. A great blend takes the sum of its parts and transforms it into something more. The 2018 Overlook Chardonnay was crafted from 42 separate blocks of grapes sourced from premium Sonoma County vineyards. Working closely with grower partners throughout the growing season in such prestigious appellations such as the Petaluma Gap, Sonoma Carneros, and the Russian River Valley gave winemaker Greg Stach the high-quality flavor and structure this wine needs to deliver strong flavors and presence. Overlook Chardonnay has aromas of ripe lemon, baked apple, and peaches with hints of chamomile flower and lemongrass notes.
NOTE: This is NOT a Firstleaf Exclusive wine.
Due to state registrations, we cannot ship this wine to AL, AZ, CO, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI,ABOUT THIS WINE

Sonoma County
Many of California's world-class wines come from Sonoma County, separated from Napa by the Mayacamas Mountains. Three times the size of Napa, Sonoma is an incredibly diverse region. Cool coastal zones, fog-cloaked hillsides, sheltered valleys and craggy exposed peaks give Sonoma a vast array of terroirs and microclimates. Its many sub-regions produce a broad range of styles: from the bold Cabernets of Alexander Valley to the fragrant Pinots of Sonoma Coast and the sublime Chardonnays of Chalk Hill.
