Of the hundreds of winemakers we keep tabs, there are few whose career we’ve followed more closely than Bruce Regalia. Having helped develop the Napa Valley staples Duckhorn Vineyards, whose 90+ point wines consistently retail for $70+, and Goldeneye, a winery famous for its 90+ Pinot Noirs, Bruce has truly been a luminary in the world of California winemaking. Now, as the winemaker for Kimmel, Bruce continues to display his deep understanding of what makes a wine taste incredible producing delicious, drinkable, and, often, award-winning wines.
As you can probably tell, we’re huge fans of Bruce’s work. So, we were excited when the opportunity came for us to introduce (or reintroduce) him to our members with this incredible wine!

Mendocino County
One of the unsung regions of the North Coast, Mendocino County enjoys some of California's finest cool-climate terroirs. Lying north of Sonoma, it is home to 12 separate AVAs, spread through sleepy valleys and long, rugged coastlines—much of which exudes a rustic, laid-back feel. Mendocino delights fans of top-quality Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wine, but there is also plenty of fine Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Syrah made in its warmer sites too. Mendocino is also famous for its high number of organic-certified vineyards, reflecting the general "off-grid" hippie nature of its winemaking pioneers.
