Inkscape
Spain
The triumphant, award-winning return of Inkscape to Firstleaf
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Inkscape
Tempranillo
The first two wines from Inkscape very quickly became club favorites, and we are incredibly excited to see the newest offering come to Firstleaf. This wine from Inkscape is made with 100% Spanish Tempranillo grapes and is full of flavor. With low oak influence, the varietals fruit characteristics are allowed to dominate the wine. We get lovely notes of tobacco leaf, dried flowers, and plums that support the bold red fruit. Our experts have been loving this wine and pairing it with classic Spanish offerings. Try it with Jamón Ibérico, Roast Pork, or Chorizo for a great Spanish accent to any meal. Judges love it too! It took home a Bronze medal at the 2018 Harvest Challenge.

WINE REGION:
Spain
While its reputation as a serious wine destination was eclipsed by France and Italy for many years, ignoring Spain today means missing out on some of the world's most exciting wines. Enjoying hundreds of miles of sun-kissed coastline and rocky interiors at higher elevations, Spain provides an ideal location for vineyards. Whether it is sparkling cavas from Catalonia, crisp Verdejos from Rueda, sublime Tempranillos from Ribera del Duero or inky Monastrells from Valencia, Spain has many wine styles to explore, all expressing the country's wildly unique terroir.
