Eagle Glen

Chardonnay

Our members have let us know how much they love California Chardonnay, and after sampling dozens we discovered Eagle Glen 2014, a balanced fruit-forward wine created from the region’s best harvest in a decade. Eagle Glen was sourced exclusively from Los Carneros, one of the state’s finest Chardonnay appellations, and crafted by California winemaking expert Joe Otos. After spending 14 months on French oak barrels, Eagle Glen has enough complexity to be enjoyed on its own, but the versatility to shine when paired with your favorite meal.

Due to state registrations, we cannot ship this wine to CT.

WINE REGION:

Outline of Los Carneros

Los Carneros

Carneros straddles the southern border of two of the state's finest winegrowing regions—Napa and Sonoma—down to the north shore of San Pablo Bay. This is a premium cool-climate winemaking area, where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir reign, producing delicate still and sparkling wines. Carneros Pinot Noir is famed for its berry and herb profile, while its Chardonnay is crisply acidic with fresh stone fruit flavors. The vines grow on low, rolling hills of shallow soils. They are frequently blanketed by coastal fog in the morning, then cooled by Pacific Ocean breezes in the afternoon. This creates a long growing season that yields deliciously fresh and elegant wines.
