Tempranillo
We are excited to present yet another stunning wine from Comarca. The 2019 vintage of our Spanish Tempranillo took home 93 points and a Gold Medal from the 2020 Sommelier Choice Awards. With its plush sweetness and rich fruit flavor, we are confident that this delectable new vintage will live up to Comarca’s decorated name. With over 50 years of grape growing expertise, our Spanish winemaking partners continue to craft exquisite examples of Spanish terroir with all the artistry and grace it deserves. A mix of limestone and clay soils allowed these grapes to reach peak levels of plump ripeness by storing scarce rainfall and providing the vines with the necessary nutrients to make it through the hot growing season. Fermentation in stainless steel further emphasized Tempranillo’s beloved varietal characteristics, resulting in a wine that reflects the beauty of its region. Scroll throu ...
