Comarca
Spain
This strong, sturdy Tempranillo will sweep you off your feet
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Comarca
Tempranillo
With scorching summers and frosty winters, the climate of Spain can sometimes throw winemakers for a loop. But luckily for us, winemakers and farmers have been working the land for over 1000 years, and they’ve learned some amazing things. The Comarca is a beautiful Spanish Tempranillo that is a deep, inky-black and has a flair for the dramatic. High in tannins and rich in flavor, this is a textured red that keeps on giving. Discover a swirl of cassis, blackberry, and a spicy kick of cloves and cinnamon. Dig a little deeper and you’ll pick up olive tapenade, too. Enjoy with big, bold dishes — steak and mushrooms will be a match made in heaven.

TASTING NOTES:
Blackcurrant
Cloves
Blackberry
This Comarca is complex. It has notes of cassis, cinnamon and olive tapenade that pervade the wine. These flavors make it the perfect complement to many different types of dishes, but it will shine with earthy roasted mushrooms.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Comarca
Comarca — meaning "region" — recognizes Spain's traditional and historic divisions of land and winegrowing regions. The countryside emulates a colorful mosaic with trellised vines, varied soil types, and unique topography, all of which assemble to create the distinct beauty of Spanish terroir. Our wines also combine numerous factors, which, under the skilled care of the vineyard manager and winemaker, embody the spirit of the land and the complexity of this centuries-old craft.
