Château Gruaud-Larose

Château Gruaud-Larose is both an estate and its Grand Vin, a Cabernet Sauvignon–led Bordeaux blend. The 82-hectare vineyard lies on deep Garonne gravel croupes with clay-sand subsoils that promote drainage and lend structure and freshness.

Approximate varietal mix: 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot.

Farming is certified organic (since 2022), and in the cellar the team uses classical methods with measured oak aging to preserve site expression.
