ABOUT THIS WINE:
Troublemaker
Red Blend
Comprised of varietals that flourish in Paso Robles' distinct growing region, Troublemaker consists of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah. Syrah is the backbone of the wine, setting the stage for a fruit-forward style and a full body. Sweet and bright red fruit flavors of Grenache blend with the rustic and lively flavors of the Mourvèdre. The Zinfandel adds its signature zing to round out the blend, and Petite Sirah contributes to the deep ruby color. Wines were aged in oak for a minimum of 15 months and a maximum of 27 months, depending on the vintage. All barrel aging was done in French and American oak barrels.
NOTE: This is NOT a Firstleaf Exclusive wine and is not eligible for discounts, member pricing, or member guarantee. Limited Availability.

Central Coast
California's Central Coast might be a bit quieter than Napa or Sonoma to the north, but this lesser-known region produces many world-class wines. Enjoying incredible terroir along its vast 280-mile stretch—from San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara—Central Coast wines are increasingly in demand. Its position between the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Southern Coast Ranges is key to its quality, with many cool-climate AVAs offering elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In the hotter parts of the Central Coast, away from the coastal fogs and cold mountain slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre are exceptional.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Troublemaker
The Hope family has been farming in Paso Robles for more than 30 years. When they arrived in this barely-discovered region, they planted apples and grapes. Little did they know that the rolling, oak-studded terrain of Paso Robles would one day become a viticultural terroir of significance and one of the top winegrowing regions for quality red wine within the Central Coast. The terroir of this domain expresses itself in its unique regional character.
