Valle Central, Chile
A stunning "Best in Show" Chilean Pinot Noir
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Ralí
Pinot Noir
Hailing from the Valle Central in Chile, this Pinot Noir is entirely different than its counterparts from France or California. Our newest vintage received incredible accolades, including Best in Show, 90 Points, and 2 Gold Medals from the critics! The Valle Central runs 250 miles down the middle of Chile’s narrow footprint and is home to many different sub-regions filled with unique climates and soils. Our winemaking partners are experts in vines planted near the ocean. The maritime influences create natural acidity and allow fruit to develop beautiful, robust flavors that are pronounced in the final bottle. After harvest, the fruit was fermented at very low temperatures and gently pumped over to allow for color extraction to occur slowly. Made in a New World style, this wine is bright and bold. With red and black fruit flavors, signature varietal spiciness, and a balanced acidity, y ...

WINE REGION:
Valle Central
The expansive, warm flatlands of Chile's Valle Central are home to most of the country's vineyards. This long stretch of land from Santiago to Itata Valley is divided into four sub-regions, each with its own climate and reputation. There is Maipo Valley with its minty Cabernet Sauvignon, Rapel Valley with its spicy Carménère and the Curicó and Maule Valleys, famous for concentrated Carignan made from old vines. Throughout the valley—which is prized for its rich, volcanic soils—the hot days and cool nights result in ripe, well-balanced grapes. Some of the most common Valle Central wines are fruit-forward reds made from plummy Merlot and pear-flavored whites crafted from Chardonnay.

TASTING NOTES:
Pomegranate
White Pepper
Raspberry
Black raspberry, red plum, and pomegranate meld with a spiciness of cracked white pepper. Notes of graphite and wet stone swirl out of the glass and complement light aromas of violet and lavender. A beautiful acidity rounds out the mouthfeel and makes your mouth water for another glass.
