California
Silver Medal-winning Cabernet, endorsed by renowned Food & Wine Editor Ray Isle
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Inkscape
Cabernet Sauvignon
Famed and award-winning vintner Joe Otos created this amazingly smooth and fragrant Cabernet that won Silver at the 2016 Los Angeles International Wine Challenge. Every sip is a harmonious mix of aromas and flavors, including ripe currants, black plum, sweet herbs, and chocolate. Food & Wine Editor Ray Isle calls it a blackberry-rich red that’s “supple and ready for drinking now, with enough tannic backbone to go with a substantial steak; a dry-aged rib eye, for instance.” It’s a versatile wine with a luscious texture followed by a long, juicy finish.
Due to state registrations, we cannot ship this wine to CT.ABOUT THIS WINE

California
California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.
