Napa Valley, California
Taste the flagship wine from Flora Springs, a proprietary blend that takes the region's best and transforms it into something even better
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Flora Springs
Trilogy Red Blend
Trilogy is Flora Springs’ flagship wine, one that dates back to 1984 when the Komes family decided to make the finest wine possible by selecting the highest quality wine lots culled from their estate vineyards in Napa Valley. Back then, it was one of Napa Valley’s first proprietary red blends, and today this Bordeaux-style wine continues to be sourced from the Komes-Garvey estate vineyards. This iconic wine brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Malbec grown in Oakville, Rutherford, and St. Helena. The Cabernet Sauvignon dominates at 80% of the blend, yielding a deep purple-black wine with rich dark fruit flavors and complex hints of cola and wild herbs.
NOTE: This is NOT a Firstleaf Exclusive wine and is not eligible for discounts, member pricing, or member guarantee. Limited Availability.

Napa Valley
Napa gained international acclaim following the Judgement of Paris in 1976, when its wines defeated its French counterparts in a blind tasting. Napa's signature wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and various Bordeaux blends, but many other varieties, such as Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc also thrive here. With 16 sub-AVAs and a Mediterranean climate with rich geology, Napa is a winemaker's dream. The winegrowing region runs between the Mayacamas Mountains and Vaca Mountains for 30 miles, from Calistoga to Los Carneros. Napa has a wide array of soil types for such a small region, from volcanic foothills to alluvial valley floors, which help to produce varied and complex wines.

TASTING NOTES:
Mocha
Tobacco
Plum
This wine has warm notes of black plum, black cherry, and cassis layered with mocha, tobacco, cola, and wild herbs. The flavors are mouthcoating and generous, but the wine retains a freshness due to lovely acidity and sleek tannins. The mix of French and American oak adds spice and notes of vanilla crème that linger on a satisfying finish.
