Red Wine Blend

This Bold Red wine has earned its right to brag. Its awards speak to our winemakers’ ability to source the best grapes from select vineyards across California. This vintage hails from Mendocino County because it exhibits the black cherry, blackberry, and earthy notes we love - don’t worry, the back label will reveal all the flavors hinted at with watercolors on the front. These flavors balance with its firm, robust tannins results in a wine that tastes mature or its age and ready to enjoy with rich meals and savory sauces.

WINE REGION:

Outline of Mendocino County

Mendocino County

One of the unsung regions of the North Coast, Mendocino County enjoys some of California's finest cool-climate terroirs. Lying north of Sonoma, it is home to 12 separate AVAs, spread through sleepy valleys and long, rugged coastlines—much of which exudes a rustic, laid-back feel. Mendocino delights fans of top-quality Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wine, but there is also plenty of fine Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Syrah made in its warmer sites too. Mendocino is also famous for its high number of organic-certified vineyards, reflecting the general "off-grid" hippie nature of its winemaking pioneers.

ABOUT THE BRAND:

large bunches of red grapes on the vine

Color Wash

While some may liken a winemaker to a chef, Color Wash prefers the relation to an artist. One who has mastered the subtlety of each brushstroke and delicate layer of color to create a finished piece that balances artistic control and the free will of their medium. No two works of art are the same, as is true for wine, where each glass is remarkable in its own right.
