Southern Hemisphere New Releases

We are always looking to expand our Fine Wine Collection. However, a wine must truly stand out to make the cut. This bundle features six new Fine Wines that captured our attention and captivated our senses, all from the Southern Hemisphere.

Our Weelderige Velde Chenin Blanc is a stellar example of South Africa's signature grape variety. Not only did this wine wow us, it has also impressed critics and earned notable accolades in this year's competitions. "There is some very serious Chenin Blanc in South Africa, where the grape can rise to heights well beyond California or even France's Loire Valley. Such is the case here, where sur lie aging and some French oak conspire to elevate things beyond the ordinary. There's some grip here, and it serves to prop up the melon, guava and apple fruit while extending the finish as well. Age this for a while—you won't be disappointed."– Rich Cook, Winemaker Challenge.

From Chile’s small Loncomilla Valley comes our Sueñoque Pinot Noir. These vines are about 15 years old and located at the foothills of the Andés Mountains. Bright red cherry and cranberry notes join hints of graphite and earth on a smooth palate to create a delicious balance of fruit-driven and savory characteristics. This wine offers an approachable yet elegant taste of Chilean vineyards.

Our Firth & Vale Shiraz comes from McLaren Vale. This complex and juicy red wine showcases Australia's most prominent grape variety, thriving in a historic region. Uplifting bay leaf and peppercorn aromas lead to a rich, dark-fruited palate where blackberry and plum flavors mingle with vanilla. This wine is a true testament to its varietal and region, and we are excited to share it with you.
