What is Moët & Chandon?

Moët & Chandon is a Champagne producer from France’s Champagne region, known for farming one of the area’s largest vineyard holdings and making sparkling wines in several styles.

Its 1,190 hectares include nearly half Grand Cru and a quarter Premier Cru sites, rooted in chalky limestone, and growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier grapes. Wines are made by the traditional méthode champenoise and matured in about 28 kilometers of underground cellars for added texture and complexity.

The range includes Moët Impérial Brut, Rosé Impérial, demi-sec bottlings, and limited vintage releases. The house also shares a deep heritage with Dom Pérignon, though the latter now operates as a separate prestige Maison within the LVMH group.
