What is Campo Viejo?
Campo Viejo is a broad portfolio built around Tempranillo, offering styles from youthful, fruit-forward reds to long-aged Reserva and Gran Reserva.
The winery also produces blends with Garnacha and a traditional-method Cava (made under DO Cava, outside Rioja), highlighting range and technique. To support consistent quality at scale, grapes come from around 5,000 hectares across its home region, including about 250 hectares of estate vineyards.
In the cellar, about 327 stainless-steel tanks handle fermentation, while some 70,000 oak barrels are dedicated to aging. This extensive setup helps deliver reliable wines while preserving the house style and the classic profile associated with Tempranillo-led blends.
