Red wines tend to have slightly more carbs than whites, but some are still keto-friendly.

- Cabernet Sauvignon - Bold and structured, with 3-4g carbs per 5 oz.
- Merlot - Smooth and fruit-forward, with 3-3.7g carbs per 5 oz.
- Syrah/Shiraz - Rich and peppery, with 3.5-4g carbs per 5 oz.
- Malbec - Dark and full-bodied, with 4g carbs per 5 oz.
Avoid: Zinfandel and Port wines, as they tend to be higher in carbs.
