ABOUT THE BRAND:

Wyethia Flame
Wyethia Flame is rooted in the history and terroir of Lodi, California. The Wyethia flower shares this region's picturesque landscape with its state flower, the poppy, blooming in the sunny vales and floodplains between gently rolling hills. The "flame" refers to the traditional cultivation of Flame Tokay grapes introduced to the region in the 1900s, which for years supported Lodi's agricultural industry and were a common sight in nearly all its vineyards. Nowadays, this forgotten grape only exists in far-away corners of the region, replaced by European varieties better suited for winemaking. Our wines epitomize Lodi's terroir by respecting the rich history of native flora and cultivated crops, which helped shape the flourishing wine region it is known as today.
