Nestled on the right bank of the Loire River in Nièvre, technically part of Burgundy, this area extends over 1,400 hectares around Pouilly-sur-Loire and six nearby villages.

Known for vivid acidity, vibrant minerality, and a distinctive smoky, flinty flavor, Pouilly-Fumé stands shoulder to shoulder with Sancerre as a leading Sauvignon Blanc region in the Loire Valley.
