Unbridled

2008 Paso Robles Zinfandel

The Wild Horse Unbridled Zinfandel from the 2008 vintage showcases the distinct characteristics of the Paso Robles region, known for its warm days and cool nights that allow the grapes to develop rich flavors. This red wine presents a medium-bodied profile with a lively acidity that balances the intense fruitiness. With prominent notes of ripe blackberries and hints of pepper, the fruit intensity is vibrant, making every sip a delightful experience. The tannins are well-integrated, offering a subtle firmness without overpowering the palate. As a dry wine, it finishes elegantly, leaving a lasting impression that invites the drinker for another taste. This Zinfandel is a testament to the craftsmanship of Paso Robles winemakers and captures the essence of its sun-kissed terroir.

Central Coast

California's Central Coast might be a bit quieter than Napa or Sonoma to the north, but this lesser-known region produces many world-class wines. Enjoying incredible terroir along its vast 280-mile stretch—from San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara—Central Coast wines are increasingly in demand. Its position between the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Southern Coast Ranges is key to its quality, with many cool-climate AVAs offering elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In the hotter parts of the Central Coast, away from the coastal fogs and cold mountain slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre are exceptional.
