Tannat

2021 Paso Robles Tannat

The Nunno Legacy House Winery Tannat from the 2021 vintage is a captivating red wine that proudly showcases the distinctive characteristics of the Paso Robles region. This medium-bodied wine offers a robust structure, marked by well-integrated tannins that contribute a firm backbone, making it an excellent choice for aging. With a balanced acidity that refreshes the palate, it provides a mouthwatering experience. The fruit intensity is prominent, revealing lush notes of dark berries and plums intertwined with hints of cocoa and spice, which add complexity to each sip. This Tannat is dry, allowing the rich flavors to shine without being overshadowed by sweetness, making it a wonderful partner for hearty dishes or simply enjoyed on its own.

Region:

Central Coast
Central Coast

California's Central Coast might be a bit quieter than Napa or Sonoma to the north, but this lesser-known region produces many world-class wines. Enjoying incredible terroir along its vast 280-mile stretch—from San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara—Central Coast wines are increasingly in demand. Its position between the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Southern Coast Ranges is key to its quality, with many cool-climate AVAs offering elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In the hotter parts of the Central Coast, away from the coastal fogs and cold mountain slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre are exceptional.
