Petite Sirah

2011 Paso Robles Petite Sirah

The Broken Earth Winery Petite Sirah from the 2011 vintage is a splendid expression of the Paso Robles region. This red wine showcases a full-bodied structure, offering a high level of acidity that balances its rich, dark fruit intensity. With notable tannins that provide a firm backbone, this wine is both powerful and expressive. Its fruit-forward profile is highlighted by luscious notes of blackberry and plum, complemented by hints of spice and earthy undertones. As a dry wine, it offers a smooth finish that invites further exploration, making it an exceptional choice for pairing with hearty dishes or enjoying on its own.

Central Coast
Central Coast

California's Central Coast might be a bit quieter than Napa or Sonoma to the north, but this lesser-known region produces many world-class wines. Enjoying incredible terroir along its vast 280-mile stretch—from San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara—Central Coast wines are increasingly in demand. Its position between the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Southern Coast Ranges is key to its quality, with many cool-climate AVAs offering elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In the hotter parts of the Central Coast, away from the coastal fogs and cold mountain slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre are exceptional.
