Thracian Valley

The Thracian Valley in Bulgaria is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the country. Spanning from the eastern plains to the foothills of the Balkan Mountains, the Thracian Valley's vineyards cover a wide array of terroir. The warm, sunny climate of the valley is tempered by cool breezes from the nearby mountains and rivers, which help to moderate the heat and allow grapes to ripen slowly and fully. This results in a wide variety of wine styles.
