Maipo Valley enjoys a warm, dry Mediterranean-style climate and is surrounded by mountains with minimal oceanic influence. This helps it produce bold, fruit-forward wines. While these are typically red, some fruity Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are also made here and are well worth exploring.
