With its rugged landscape and cool Pacific climate, Oregon is one of the world's great modern Pinot Noir regions. The Willamette Valley produces an impressive array of styles across its six AVAs, from fragrantly fruity to lush and complex. Other benchmark grapes include Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Riesling; Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah thrive in the southern AVAs.
