Camp 4

2008 Santa Ynez Valley Mourvedre

Tercero Wines Camp 4 is a stunning example of a 2008 Mourvèdre from the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley. With its deep red hue, this wine captivates from the first glance. It showcases a full-bodied structure, harmoniously balanced by high acidity that brings a lively freshness to each sip. The fruit intensity is pronounced, revealing tantalizing notes of dark berries and plums, perfectly complemented by earthy undertones and hints of spice. Tannins are firm yet well-integrated, providing a robust backbone without overpowering the wine's vibrant character. This beautifully crafted Mourvèdre is dry, making it an exceptional choice for enjoying alongside hearty dishes or on its own as a delightful companion.

Central Coast

California's Central Coast might be a bit quieter than Napa or Sonoma to the north, but this lesser-known region produces many world-class wines. Enjoying incredible terroir along its vast 280-mile stretch—from San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara—Central Coast wines are increasingly in demand. Its position between the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Southern Coast Ranges is key to its quality, with many cool-climate AVAs offering elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In the hotter parts of the Central Coast, away from the coastal fogs and cold mountain slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre are exceptional.
